SNAPDRAGON Coming Up With Their Own AR Smart Glasses

 Qualcomm On Tuesday Unveiled their Brand New Snapdragon 835 Chip With Killer Specs Which Blew Everyone's Hats Away Following the 835 launch, the company joined Osterhout Design Group And Unveild The Two New AR Glasses Code Named R-8 And R-9 Both Running The Snapdargon 835 Chip Under The Small Footprint 



The Sanpdragon 835 Is The First Chip To Be Built On The 10nm FINfet Process It is 35% Smaller And Consumes About 25% Less Power Than Its Predecessors Which Allows The Manufacturers To have Longer Batteries And Thinner Designes In Their Devices Running This New Chipset.




5G With the New Chip

The New Chip Supports The Latest Beta Bands Of 5G Which Are Being marketed By Both AT&T And Erricsson. 

The Kyro processor used in the 835 employs ARM cores optimized for Qualcomm rather than Qualcomm processor cores, which "will free up resources to optimize future Qualcomm-designed processors for other processors for other applications," McGregor explained.




The Officials Also Stated That These AR Glasses Will Not Be The Ordinary AR/VR Galsses But Would Be So Powerful And Could Perform All The Stuff That A Family Laptop Or Tablet Can


The R-8 Will The Available In B/W Q2/Q3 2017 Around The 1000$ Price Brackets And The R9 Around The 1800$ Price Bracket.
